Simoniz Black Underguard makes it easy to protect the underside of your car. Here are some step-by-step instructions.
- Before using Simoniz Underguard, make sure your car is parked in a well-ventilated area. We would also recommend raising the vehicle off the ground, so you have easy access to apply the spray with the greatest degree of accuracy.
- Simoniz Underguard has a 360° accurate spray action that makes it easy to apply the paint where you need it. When spraying sills, we suggest covering the lower portion of the paintwork to reduce the chance of transfer.
- With a soft-bristled brush, remove any dirt, debris, and rust from components. Then, holding the spray can 25-30cm from the surface, apply in even lines one coat at a time.
- It’s important to apply Underguard in thin, even coats to minimise drying times and ensure a smooth, durable finish. If you need to apply two or more coats, leave the product to dry before applying the next coat.
